Hunt Location

Kodiak Island, Alaska

We’ll be focusing on the less-populated south side of Kodiak Island for your hunt – Greater Deadman Bay. This region is known for its large Sitka black-tailed deer population and strong odds of seeing mountain goats to hunt, as well. The Naknek Spirit’s size allows us to offer hunt transportation for this region with ease and safety.

Getting to Kodiak Island

Travel Options

The quickest way to get to Kodiak is airplane via Anchorage International Airport.

Alaska Airlines and Ravn Alaska Air offer daily service between Anchorage and Kodiak.

Floatplane to the F/V Naknek Spirit

Deadman Bay

Upon arrival to Kodiak Island, you will be taken to the Naknek Spirit and Deadman Bay via chartered float plane. The Naknek Spirit and her size enable Captain Steve to navigate to the best sites for your deer hunt.
