"I had the pleasure of hunting blacktails with Chad aboard the Naknek Spirt on Kodiak Island in November of 2022. I had a great experience and was very happy with the accommodations and the hunting. The accommodations were clean, and cozy and Chad was very welcoming. There is plenty of space for each hunter to store their belongings. The drying area is very adequate and worked well, clothes and boots were always dry by morning. The meat processing area is set up well and worked well for our group of six. The meals provided did not disappoint, there was variety, plenty to eat and everything was pretty darn good.

As far as the hunting, I would say you get what you put into it. We, as a group, hunted hard, walked a lot and were rewarded with a very successful hunt. Plan on walking multiple miles a day, through tough terrain.

Overall, Chad, his crew and boat make for an unforgettable trip that will not disappoint I would definitely recommend booking your trip with him. Thanks again Chad I had a blast!"
